Point Lobos Hike

This is one of the most spectacular hikes in California and has been called the “crown jewel” of the State Park System. Hiking trails follow the shoreline and lead to hidden coves and beautiful beaches. The variety of scenic hiking trails wind along the spectacular coastline with views of the ocean and rocky shores, majestic trees, and wildflowers and lead to hidden coves. Your guide will point out where the sea otters play, where the sea lions bask in the sun and where to look for the whales off the point as they migrate through the Monterey Bay. Flat, leisurely trails as well as more difficult lengthy trails. *Camera, walking shoes and a windbreaker are recommended. We will depart back to the hotel by 5 PM since the park closes then.

Paint and Sip/Paint the Coastline

Step-by-step experience of painting the coastline instructed by a professional artist, and if you like, while sipping mimosas. This event is included in the spouse registration although is first come first serve since there is a 24-person maximum.

Half Day Wine Tasting in Carmel

We will go wine tasting in Carmel Valley Village (as time allows) at 3-5 well known wineries (not private) such as Wrath, Blair Estates and Caracciolo Cellars. Carmel Valley Wine Village is a hidden gem located in the Santa Lucia Mountains of Monterey County, home to more than 20 wine tasting rooms. Well known for its antique shops, wineries, fine dining, and art galleries, most of the wineries are walkable in a 3-block radius. Cost includes transportation from the Inn at Spanish Bay.

$90 per person (24 person minimum)
