• Job Summary
    Liaison and support to the Programs and Communications department for communications and administrative needs. Provides support and oversight for social media, programs and events, and digital and print marketing content creation and deployment. The Marketing Coordinator also assists with copywriting, proofreading, and quality control across all marketing channels, including social media, e-blasts, newsletters, direct mail, video content, etc.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develops social media campaigns, and drafts and schedules social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube and provides recommendations for content and campaigns to drive engagement and increase visibility.
    • Provides weekly reporting and analytics for social media and website engagement and daily monitoring of all social media platforms.
    • Writes content for digital communications including newsletters, e-blasts, and website content.
    • Provides administrative support on behalf of the Programs and Communications department, including marketing and communication initiatives, live activities, online activities, and member inquiries. Administrative support includes email list management, website content management, and other administrative activities needed to support ongoing programs, courses, and events.
    • Coordinates distribution of creative materials, including print ads, web banners, and social media promotions, working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
    • Tracks and reports performance measurements of campaign tactics.
    • Works with key stakeholders to disseminate information, messaging, and materials for CNS programs, events, and courses.
    • Provides additional administrative duties including printing, mailing, and stocking/inventory of key marketing supplies.
    • Assists with outbound call campaigns and inbound marketing inquiries.

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate or nonprofit environment.
    • Experience in copywriting, proofreading, email marketing platforms (such as MailChimp), and social media management platforms (such as HootSuite).
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Outlook.
    • Experience with email list management and ability to maintain records with accuracy.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, but also contribute in a collaborative team environment.
    • Work well under pressure and possess effective problem-solving skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to coordinator and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Must be professional and demonstrate personal integrity.

    Paid Time Off 

    PTO provides full-time regular and part-time regular employees with paid time away from work that can be used for vacation, personal time or illness.  Employees accrue:

    • 10 days first year, prorated based on hire date

    • 32 days eleven or more years
