• 30-Year-Old Male with Right Arm Weakness 

    History
    30-year-old male presents with right upper extremity weakness following a motorcycle crash that occurred 5 months prior to presentation.  He reports minimal finger movement that started within the last 2-3 weeks and no other movement of the extremity.  He denies any weakness in the left arm and denies any leg weakness.  He has burning, electric pain in the right arm that is adequately controlled on gabapentin.
    Exam
    Cranial nerves II-XII are intact, Horner sign present on right
    Sensation – The entire right upper extremity is anesthetic
    Strength – 5/5 lower extremities
